Monitoring and Evaluation Projects

Making Sense of Values

Synexe is currently pursuing work looking at the way in which cultural values can be incorporated in monitoring and evaluation frameworks. Part of this work focuses on the role of cultural mapping in the collection of longitudinal data sets. This project is also looking at how monitoring and evaluation frameworks can be optimised as instruments for learning while maintaining the necessary elements of compliance required by funders.

Review of the Australia-Fiji Law and Justice Program

Synexe has been providing leadership for the review of the AusAID funded Australia-Fiji Law and Justice Program (AFLJP). This review has involved the writing of an independent completion review of the program to assess the design, relevance, efficiency, effectiveness, accountability, impact, quality of monitoring and evaluation, and sustainability of the various programs delivered under AFLJP in the period 2003-2008; and to provide management information to AusAID to inform the design and strategy of future law and justice assistance programmes.
